What's on offer at Camping du Quinquis
Everybody wants to know what is available on a campsite; what is there for the kids to do, what entertainment is there etc?
At the risk of simply providing a list, here is a list detailing the facilities on the campsite and then the menu on the left provides more detail about entertainment at Quinquis, the sports facilities and the activities we have.
The bar is the centre of campsite entertainment and evening events such as our boules competitions, bingo and quiz evenings and the occasional karaoke.
Last year the bar received great reviews from many customers for the informal atmosphere. The weekly quiz usually involves a bit of a singsong and during high season we try to have at least 1 night a week with a local band playing.
We serve lagers and Guinness and we now have our own beers brewed by an the award winning micro brewery Wentwell from Derby. We have Quinquis Bitter and Pouldu Pale Ale and the big debate last season was whether they should be served from the fridge (cold) or the shelf (room temperature). You can make your own mind up (again and again).
Part of holidaying France is exploring new shops and the local supermarkets. However, there are always those things that you either forgot to bring with you or to pick up when you are shopping, so we have a small on-site shop in reception.
We stock dry goods, cereals and other breakfast supplies, toiletries, BBQ charcoal and firelighters, cold drinks and we always have fresh milk available.
Give us this day our daily bread! OK and we will also give you a dedicated website on which to place your bread order www.quinquisbread.com.
We take deliveries each day from our local boulangerie and to make sure we have what everybody wants, all of the bread is pre-ordered on our bread ordering website. You can access this from home before you set off, en route in case you fancy a nibble when you arrive or from the comfort of your pitch every day.
We also have an ordering point in the bar so if you need an excuse to pop up then.....
Bread is available from 0900 each morning in high season.
Choose from fresh baguettes and croissants, pain au chocolat, gorgeous crispy cereal loafs, strong pain tradition or any number of different freshly baked breads French style.
Reception/Depot du Pain
Reception is your first point of call when you arrive and usually for all other questions and assistance whilst you are on site.
More importantly, reception is where you can order your daily bread. It is all freshly made and delived by the local boulangerie and the aroma is always mouthwatering.
We also sell groceries and toiletries - the bits and pieces you have forgotten usually - and we also always have fresh milk for sale.
The team on reception are always on hand to advise about places to go and things to do so if you would like anything booked call in to see us there.
Quinquis has a wifi network that is accessible everywhere on the site. There is small charge that you can pay for on-line.
The best way to enjoy the network is from the bar with a smooth latte - or a verre du vin blanc!
Mole Club (Kids Club)
The children's club is held every weekday from 1030 to 1230 and will operate this year from The last full week in July to the end of August.
Quinquis Kids Club is for children aged between 4 and 12 and there is a small charge payable locally.
Kids Club activities are posted on the notice boards around the campsite each week but we have a variety of planned activities that may vary according to the weather.
Treasure Hunt, Wet 'n' Wild, Ball and Beauty and Party Time are just a few of the theme days that were so popular last season.
The Kids Club received the highest score on our customer satisfaction survey last year and if the kids are happy then......
Our laundrette facility is in our large toilet block and is available 24/7.
We have 5 washers and 3 dryers.
The cost is 5€ per wash and 4€ for the dryer.
