The New Swimming Pool

Quinquis has had a swimming pool since the early 90's but when we bought the campsite we decided that we wanted to upgrade and extend the swimming pool area. After a couple of false starts and a big hole in the ground for most of 2004 the pool was opened in May 2005.

The new pool features a separate fenced off paddling pool for toddlers, a small toboggan, a 9 seater spa area and an island waterfall. This pool is in addition to the existing large swimming pool and baby pool and the whole area is attractivley fenced with borders and landscaped surrounds.

Even though we say so ourselves, it does look pretty darned good. We hope you like it too.

We often hold swimmming galas on Friday afternoons in peak season. Nothing too serious of course and there are usually a few dads willing to join in the silly dive competition.
