Local Area Information

We normally provide a printed sheet with all of the information on the local area when you arrive but our customers told us last year that it would be good to see this on the website. Hopefully, it will help you to decide whether this is the place for you.

We make most of the recommendations here from our own personal exploration and experience of the area but many customer recommendations are also included. Our recommendations do change quite frequently so save your ink - we will give you an up to date copy including 'how to get there instructions' when you arrive.

We also have much more detailed information in reception on the opening times and prices of activities locally, when various markets are on and one-off special events around the area. Marlies, our multi-lingual receptionist, will always help you with queries.

Regard this section as an appetiser and make a head start on some of the pronunciations!

We now know loads more places to visit - adventure parks with huge aerial runways, leisure parks with rides galore as well as more restaurants and beaches to recommend.
