Driving
The majority of our British customers take one of the cross channel ferries and drive here. Our location in southern Brittany means that the shortest driving time in France is from the western channel ports of St Malo (2½ hours) and Roscoff (1½ hours).
However, we are also easily accessible from Caen which offers a shorter crossing time on the ferry and last year many customers began using LD Lines.
If you use the Chunnel the driving time is between 7 and 8 hours depending on stops.
Driving in France is usually pretty easy but there are few things you need to be aware of.
You need to carry a security kit consisting of a safety vest, a warning triangle, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a tool kit and spare bulbs. Speed cameras exist although they are clearly signposted. See this website for ones near us....http://www.radarsfixes.com/.
Booking a Ferry
As there are so many options available when it comes to ferry crossings, timings and options etc we usually leave that part of your holiday arrangement to you. However, we can now provide ferry crossings so if you want a check prices and availability through us please ask.
